WHO WE ARE

Need a spa day? What if we told you you’re already there? This is it. Life IS the “spa”. JOBO spa is about finding the “spa” in everyday experiences - even those perceived as negative. Life is full: full of opportunities & challenges, full of beauty, art, noise, quiet and exaltation, texture and even what we perceive as imperfection.. Whoever you are, whatever you do, however you are feeling, there is richness all around you and within you. At JOBO spa we don’t conceive of a “spa” as a physical place that has connotations of absence - absence of noise, absence of messiness, absence of pressures. We think of it as an internal place of PRESENCE: Being present with yourself, the people you love and even the people you don’t. Having the presence of mind to keep your priorities straight. Being able to bear witness to what is going on in your home, your town or your planet. Being capable of finding the inner truth of the situation and discovering what is true for us.

On an earthly plane, Jobo Spa is dedicated to honoring and finding the value in each and every one of us. It’s why We use local, small production manufacturing resources in the northeast corridor of the US. Our fabrics are sourced through a family owned business in NYC and some of our fabrics were printed in California.. It is’s because of this that we create items that honor the whole human being; body and spirit, like a cheerful robe to wake up to in the morning or a gift to welcome the brand new (or old) human in your life.

We make a range of sizes and items that allow us to serve a diverse multi-faceted mix of people . In this vein, we want to honor the people in our community that could really use a reminder of how valuable they are, so we dedicate 10% of our profits to community centered organizations that meet people where they are and do the sacred work of assisting others where it is needed. We want to make the world a more nurturing, joyous place, amid all the complexities of life - a “spa” for the soul!
